As a holder of real estate the Westgrund group has adopted a business model that keeps the overall business risk low. Residential portfolios are held in order to generate in total a positive cash flow. The company does not assume risks in connection with real estate development business, commercial properties or luxury renovations.

Moreover, Westgrund AG maintains a lean organisation and focusses on central functions aa well as asset management, i.e. the business development of the existing portfolio of residential properties. The operating business however – including the administration of the residential units, property management and daily contact with tenants – is largely run by external partners that perform these tasks on behalf of Westgrund AG.

Westgrund AG operates exclusively in Germany, with a focus on residential space with medium to low rents – which is the segment for which Westgrund AG has the best expertise for sustainable success.
